About
Walk & Talk Therapy & Ecotherapy

Walk & Talk Therapy and Ecotherapy offer a gentle, grounded approach to mental health support by meeting outdoors and incorporating movement and nature into the therapeutic process. Rather than sitting in an office, sessions take place while walking at a relaxed pace or pausing in natural surroundings. Being in nature can help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and make it easier to open up—especially for moms who may already spend much of their time caring for others.
This offering is well-suited for those who feel more comfortable moving than sitting, who find nature soothing, or who are looking for a fresh and supportive way to engage in therapy.
What Is Walk & Talk Therapy?
Walk & Talk Therapy is traditional psychotherapy conducted while walking side-by-side outdoors. The focus remains on your therapeutic goals, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth, with movement serving as a supportive backdrop rather than a distraction. The pace is slow and flexible, with plenty of opportunities to stop, rest, or sit as needed.
For new moms, a stroller-friendly route can be selected, allowing you to attend therapy while bringing your baby along if that feels supportive and accessible for you.
What Is Ecotherapy?
Ecotherapy intentionally integrates the natural environment into the therapeutic experience. This may include walking, standing, sitting, or pausing to notice sights, sounds, and sensations in nature. The goal is to use the calming and regulating effects of the outdoors to support emotional processing, mindfulness, and connection—both with yourself and the world around you.
